Our Wedding

We met on a sunny day in Seward, AK in 2018. Joe was guiding for Kayak Adventures Worldwide and Izzy was a deckhand for Weather Permitting. It was crush-at-first-sight territory, we spent that summer giggling our way through days on the water, and Izzy even nearly saved Joe’s life with backpack ibuprofen (ask us about that later). We officially started dating in the winter of 2019 and have been giggling our way through life together ever since. We’re beyond excited to begin this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Originally established in 1905, the Hotel Seward offers a range of accommodations including 38 renovated guest rooms with private bathroom and 23 European-style units with ensuite or shared bathroom options allowing guests to experience the hotel’s historic charm. Located in the heart of downtown Seward, the Hotel Seward is a short walk away from the Alaska Sealife Center, restaurants, and shops. The Hotel Seward offers a complimentary hotel shuttle to the Alaska Railroad Seward Depot, Park Connection drop off at the Gateway Hotel, Small Boat Harbor, and Seward Cruise Terminal. Exit Glacier, part of Kenai Fjords National Park is 12.5 miles away from Hotel Seward. Guests can stop by the front desk for assistance in planning various activities such as fishing charters, glacier and wilderness cruises into Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park, kayaking tours, and more! While we love animals, our hotel is pet-free.

Hotel Edgewater

Located on the waterfront of the Seward Small Boat Harbor, Harbor 360 Hotel offers guests stunning 360 degree views of Resurrection Bay and the surrounding Kenai Mountains. This waterfront hotel is 1.3 miles from the Alaska SeaLife Center and features an indoor pool, hot tub and free in-room Wi-Fi. The spacious, bright, and simply furnished guest rooms at the Harbor 360 Hotel include a king or two queen beds, a hardwood work desk and a coffee maker. Some units are pet-friendly. A continental breakfast featuring hot and cold items is served every morning at this Seward Harbor hotel. A business center is located off of the lobby and laundry facilities are available. Harbor 360 Hotel is open year-round and is within close walking distance to Seward’s finest restaurants, shops, and the Alaska Railroad Depot. Harbor 360 Hotel Seward

Located in the heart of downtown Seward, the Breeze Inn is just a 1-minute walk from the Seward Boat Harbor on Resurrection Bay. This locally owned hotel/motel offers comfortable rooms, an on-site restaurant and lounge with harbor views, free parking, and a seasonal free shuttle service. There are three sections of the Breeze Inn - our affordable motel-style section, our annex with many hotel rooms overlooking the harbor, and our spacious hotel-style rooms above the lobby. Rooms feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, a refrigerator and coffee maker. Microwaves and air conditioning are available in select rooms.
